Are Our Local Waters Being Over Netted?
Our Lake Trout catch is consistently yielding smaller size fish and the Salmon catch has
decreased. All this is happening in spite of the large plants of Chinooks by the
DNR.
We are in 1842 waters zone 5 (indefinite) west of the Chocolay river and 1836
waters (20year treaty) east of the Chocolay.
Who Does Enforcement?
DNR's Ken Johnson will enforce east of the Chocolay and KBIC's Tim Tilson west of the
Chocolay.
What Can We Do?
We want you, our members, to assist in the management & enforcement of the fishery
east and west of the Chocolay!
How You Say?
By learning the KBIC rules and video taping violations as well as helping in the building of pens and taking care
of those pens.
