South Shore Fishing Association

Mission Statement

The purpose of this association is to help protect and promote the sport fishery on Lake Superior's south shore.

Protecting the fishery from unlawful and or excessive commercial netting.
Insure planting of fish to maintain and develop the Lake Superior south shore
fishery.
Developing a liaison with state and federal fishery management agencies, to insure the maintenance and growth of the Lake Superior south shore fishery.
Setting standards of conduct to insure the integrity & quality of our area
fishermen.
Acting as a mechanism of education and information between area fishermen.
Taking legal action, if needed to accomplish the above goals.
Insuring adequate financing and membership to accomplish the above goals.
